Very scary indeed! Even the Dagda was intimidated by her but needed her help in the battle against the Formorians, so she promised her help if he would please her and she stood with one foot on either side of the river (like the giant she is) and he took a boat and was able to please her. She helped him in war and one of their offspring is Brigid (obviously the goddess not the saint haha)
