This is a such bold call to hope - to raise our voices, our magic, our power, our craft - in a terribly broken, unjust, and frightening world. This is the perfect time for sharing our siren calls to manifest love and inspiration. Thank you to you beautiful women for creating this. I am so in! 💫

Cannot wait to share with you Liz! xxx

Yes you are so right and I adore this way of looking at it. Things can feel hopeless, but we can raise our voices to create ripples of magic and inspiration, and from that place there is always hope. So happy you are in! xx

Yes! This! Can't wait to see what you create Liz x

What is Substack the company doing for IWD does anyone know?

Expand full comment

I’d imagine nothing Amy?

Expand full comment

Yeah I can't see anything. I've been reading this morning that 65.37% of Substack readers are women and doing some desk research. It's brought up some questions for me. But also how diverse are the people creating the algorithm because AI has huge gender bias dependent on the data used and the team commissioning and collecting the data

Expand full comment

That’s so fascinating Amy, I never thought about it but it makes much sense! It’s why our history got so distorted because for example in archaeology there was a huge male bias that neglected goddess figurine like for example the Venus of Willendorf as a sexualised object made by men

It's repeating of the age old issue women face. I think I've found my topic for my siren song piece on IWD. Could you tell me more about that or direct me please, Laura?
